2012 Senior Bus Trip schedule was announced during January 2012 via local newspapers. If you do not receive the Lafayette Journal & Courier or another local newspaper that announced these trips, please contact Anita Bowen at (765)447-7683 or e-mail info@areaivagency.org for more details. There will be five trips for those individuals 55 and over. The first trip will take place in March. Thank you for your interest!

Sunshine and Smiles Sunshine & Smiles is an intergenerational play group. The group, facilitated by a volunteer, allows parents and their typically pre-school age children and nursing home residents to connect and interact. The group meets once a month and benefits all involved. As one resident at Rosewalk Village said, “This is the best day I’ve ever had.” These visits are especially meaningful to those residents whose family members are not able to visit very often. Children who don’t live near their grandparents or great-grandparents also benefit by getting to spend time with an older generation. Read More
