Tell Me More!

Each June, Area IV hosts nearly 500 individuals aged 55 and over for the Senior Games and its sister event, Golden Games (with area nursing facilities). The Games offer a variety of recreational events, and there is something for everyone. Some activities include:

  • BINGO
  • Euchre
  • Shuffleboard
  • Bowling
  • Tennis
  • Golf
  • Track & Field
  • Swimming

The mission of Senior Games is to encourage physical and mental activity, healthy competition and the maintenance of a healthful lifestyle among all seniors in Area IV’s eight-county area (Benton, Carroll, Clinton, Fountain, Montgomery, Tippecanoe, Warren and White). Watch for registration information in the media each spring or call the Area IV Lafayette office for a packet to be mailed to you.
