If you're looking for a regular social outing for you and your friends, or a fun activity where you can meet new people, you've come to the right place! Throughout the year, Area IV sponsors events on certain Wednesdays and Thursdays that will give you the chance for some out-of-the-house fun.

Wacky Wednesdays

Offered each 2nd Wednesday of the month, March through October, Wacky Wednesdays is a special opportunity for individuals aged 55 and over to go to a morning movie and enjoy a breakfast snack at a cost of just $1. Wacky Wednesdays is sponsored by IU Health Plans, Hippensteel Funeral Service & Crematory and Rosewalk Commons. The breakfast snack is provided by Golden Corral Restaurant and Rosewalk Village.

Movies selected are either rated G, PG or PG-13. Movie list is usually available for the entire year sometime in January. We’d love to have you join us at Eastside 9 Movie Theater on Farabee Drive (off of State Road 26 East) – breakfast snack at 9 a.m. and movie at 9:30! Terrific Thursdays

Terrific Thursdays are typically held during the months when the movies are not taking place throughout the year!! Venues for Terrific Thursdays have included Great Skates Fun Center, Monster Mini Golf and the Moose Family Center. Check with us for details!
