Program Details:
- An intensive family development program designed to help families meet life’s challenges
- Family Development Consultants partner with families to learn about their lives, develop realistic goals, meet challenges and foster dreams.
- Action plans and support systems are developed to assist the family in the achievement of self-sufficiency
- Meetings are home based

Family development consultants partner with client families to work on action plans that lead to the overall goal of self sufficiency. This is a free and voluntary program in which families are encouraged to grow in many areas, depending on the situation of each family. Typical family challenges include issues like: employment, physical family violence/abuse, money management, divorce, childcare, family development, social support, community resources, and more. Linkages with other professionals in the community to build stronger support networks are a priority. No money is paid to the client.
