Owner Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR)
With the Owner Occupied Rehabilitation program, Area IV offers the opportunity to repair or replace parts of your home in order to ensure that you remain safe.
Is this Program for Me?

Owner Occupied Rehabilitation (OOR)

Area Served: Carroll, Clinton, White and Tippecanoe Counties

Eligibility: 150% poverty ($16,245/one; $21,855/two)

This program enhances our weatherization program. Homes are identified as needing additional services beyond the scope of our regular weatherization services. Major household systems may be repaired or replaced as part of the rehabilitation process in order to meet the stricter of the Indiana State Building Code or local building codes. The program may remedy conditions that, while not posing an immediate threat to health and safety, represent an ongoing threat to the structural integrity of a building and may eventually result in an emergency situation. Rehabilitation activities may be completed to incorporate accessibility design. Typical areas that may be looked at are the roof, the electrical system, the plumbing system, doors, windows, siding or any other area that needs to be repaired to bring the house to code.

At this time we are placing names on a waiting list until additional funding becomes available.
