Adult Day ServicesSupervised adult day care programs are available for frail, older persons needing health care, rehabilitation and social opportunities that enhance their daily lives and enable their involvement in the community. These programs are socially-oriented and offer limited medical services.
Legal ServicesThe Older Adult Impact Program provides legal services and counseling to elderly individuals to resolve non-criminal legal matters and protect the individual's legal rights.

Nursing Home OmbudsmenOmbudsmen give assistance with resolving problems between nursing home residents, administration, staff members and families.
Nutrition ServicesHot nutritious meals are served in senior centers and congregate meal sites where those participating also have the opportunity to access other services. A home-delivered meal program, which includes physician-prescribed, modified-diet meals is available area wide for homebound persons.
Senior CentersSenior Centers, located in each county, are the building blocks upon which other services to the elderly begin. As the focal point for services, they provide a congregate meeting place for meals, recreation, health screenings and testing and educational programs.Respite CareServices are provided by trained staff to relieve family caregivers who are taking care of an impaired, ill or recovering elderly person or other disabled individual.
TransportationSpecial vehicles designed to assist elderly and handicapped persons with their transportation needs are available area-wide. Medical and health-related appointments are the first priority of the service. This transportation program takes place through Senior Centers. |
