27Aug

Family caregivers play a vital role in helping loved ones maintain their health, independence, and quality of life. Whether you are new to caregiving or have been supporting a loved one for years, having the right tools and resources can make a meaningful difference.

Area IV Agency is partnering with the Crawfordsville District Public Library to offer The Empowered Caregiver Series, a free five-week educational program presented by Saedie Spikes, Dementia Outreach Specialist.

Participants will explore topics including:

  • Building Foundations of Caregiving
  • Supporting Independence
  • Communicating Effectively
  • Responding to Dementia-Related Behaviors
  • Exploring Care and Supportive Services

The series is designed to help caregivers gain practical knowledge, build confidence, and connect with community resources that can support both caregivers and the individuals they serve.
