Our Mission at Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs, Inc. is to inspire hope and spark a positive change in the lives of those we serve and the communities where we live. The past few years have been difficult due to the pandemic and the changing needs of vulnerable seniors, families, and individuals in our communities. As an organization with a staff of around 80 individuals, we have worked hard to be creative, become more inclusive and diverse, maintain qualified staff, grow community partners, reach those most in need.
We are again asking for your support to allow us to continue meeting the needs of those in need of a hand up. This past year we served 26,749 individuals and 17,297 households. Area IV Agency provided funding to the Lafayette Adult Resource Academy (LARA) for scholarships and technology to individuals pursuing their General Education Development (GED), we are actively working to increase the number of affordable housing units in the counties of Carroll, Clinton, Tippecanoe, White, and we operate Park Place Learning Center in Monticello, and funded small businesses loans for two childcare facilities in our communities. You can view our 2021 Annual Report here, which includes two success stories.
Any amount of offering will be utilized to meet urgent needs and your support is truly appreciated. To make a donation, please click here. We thank you and are grateful for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Elva James, Executive Director of Area IV Agency on Aging and Community Action Programs, Inc.
